Offshore Staffing
Offshore staffing is hiring in a country with substantial time-zone offset from the client, typically 8+ hours. Offshore optimizes for cost and 24-hour coverage but sacrifices real-time collaboration.
Offshore is well-suited to work that can be handed off asynchronously — back-office operations, overnight support, batch processing, and content moderation. It is poorly suited to product engineering that requires real-time architectural discussion. Many companies now blend: nearshore for core product teams, offshore for follow-the-sun operations.
